FOUNDER​

Jan​

Yorkshire born and bred, Jan moved to London in the 1970s to study fabric design and print, earning her degree and developing a deep understanding of textiles and craftsmanship. She refined her skills in bespoke curtain making while working with a prestigious London atelier, gaining the technical expertise that would shape her career.


For many years, Jan – and later K&K Curtains – served as a trusted contractor to John Lewis at Brent Cross, producing high‑quality made‑to‑measure curtains and soft furnishings until the department was devolved. With this wealth of experience behind her, Jan founded K&K Curtains, combining her northern roots, design knowledge and commitment to exceptional workmanship.
